Duties of Current Occupation

Assist with the care and preparation of competition horses for training sessions and affiliated and unaffiliated shows, ensuring horses and equipment are ready for travel and competition. Support riders and trainers during shows and training outing.

Equine Work Experience

I have ridden horses from a young age, coming up to about 10 years now and have been in many different environments, such as competitions to busy livery yards, to equine college. I have ridden many different horses from green four-year-old youngsters all the way to schoolmasters. I am a very capable and confident rider as well as handler, not much fases me. I am finalising my last year at equine college, and whilst being here, I have extended my knowledge in handling, riding, clipping, mucking out, plaiting, and just dealing with horses in many different situations.

Specialities

I am confident in handling and riding all types of horses from young green horses' to schoolmasters. I happily work in high level stress environments and more than happy to work in with a team as a team player or leading the team. I have high expectations for myself and a high work ethic, always working to my highest ability and pushing myself.

Type of Ride Work

I have been riding for around 8–9 years and, due to my dad’s work, I have had the opportunity to ride in a number of different countries, including South Africa, Dubai, Brazil and the UK. This has given me the chance to experience a particularly wide variety of horses, yards and riding environments from a young age. I have ridden everything from Cobs and Welsh ponies to Thoroughbreds, Irish Sport Horses and Irish Draughts, with horses ranging from around 14hh up to 18.2hh. I currently compete a
