Equine Work Experience
I have ridden and helped out at a local trekking centre in Scotland for almost 8 years now. Here, I have had experience with young, unbroken horses, I have had experience helping kids and others learn to ride, fed horses, tacked horses up, groomed horses, trimmed hooves, caught horses and turned horses out plus much more. I also ride an ex racehorse weekly - I tend to take him out hacking.
I have also worked on various farms and at riding schools helping out where I can.
Specialities
I am compassionate and understanding of horses and connect well with them. I dont have any specific equine qualifications or skills yet.
However, I am very keen and dedicated to get stuck in and learn everything I possibly can.
Type of Ride Work
Hacking.
I want to learn so much more, for example, how to canter properly, how to jump properly and more.
Competition Details
I have no competition experience as I've only really hacked.
