Bio
I am currently a Team Leader as part of the senior management team of a care home, I am wanting a change in my Career and start my younger career choice, I had 15years experience with horses and would love to start working in the equine industry.Qualifications
I don’t currently have any qualifications in Equine but I would happily go through any qualifications required for the job role.
Duties of Current Occupation
I am a Team Leader/supervisor in a Care Home, but in the past I have worked on Private Livery Yards and worked at a couple of riding schools. I was responsible for main yard duties, Mucking out, turn in and turn outs, feeding, grooming, riding ect…
Equine Work Experience
I started with Horses from a very young age and have 15 years experience, I have worked on Private Livery Yards and worked at a couple of riding schools as main yards worker. I have also had my own horses, I wanted to start a career in the Equine industry but sadly due to life circumstance I had to stop to pursue as a career and just became a hobby. After having my son I stopped and I have had 8 years away and now I am ready to start a Career in the equine industry again and go into a career that I wanted to do since I was young.
Specialities
In the past I have worked with a variety of horse from youngsters to old mare’s and geldings.
Type of Ride Work
I had ridden a variety of Horses from well behaved to very challenging, I had experience in lounging, flat work and I loved Show jumping.
Competition Details
I often competed in show jumping in the past and would compete regularly on weekends and competed at a few venues. Highest I have show jumped is 1,10 courses.
