I did many courses growing up with the South African Pony Club and during my time as a mounted patrol officer.

I recently emigrated to the UK with my family from South Africa. In November 2020, I published my first book 'Shine a Light' (www.shinealight-thebook.co.za) and am currently writing my second book, 'Music in her eyes' which I do part-time.

Growing up, I rode in all disciplines, achieving success in equitation, eventing and dressage. As an adult, I specialized in dressage, competing up to Medium Level. I was fortunate to do a course in classical dressage in Portugal. After school, I became a mounted law enforcement officer, in which I was the safety and security representative. I was also involved with teaching equestrian skills to the South African Army. In 2010, I ran a small livery yard from my property and managed a 'pre-loved' tack store called 'Twice Chic.' I sold my dressage horse 3 years ago but continued working with horses, running a horse transport business called ' Corrine's Equestrian Express' in which I specialized in transporting horses in need of emergency care.

I have worked with horses on many levels. My specialties are detecting lameness / illness, horse trucking (which I did in emergency situations for a vet in Cape Town) and basic schooling.

I have ridden many types of horses over my lifetime.

I have competed throughout my life, riding for my province and have organized many 'local' dressage shows.
