Bsc honours degree in equine science with first class honours

Main duties include maintain a tidy workspaces, alongside washing the pots for a busy restaurant

I have recently completed a Bsc Equine science degree achieving first class honours, which including but not limited to a range of modules such as veterinary science, management of performance horses, injury and rehab, nurtition, and coaching.

I have been riding for 10 years at local riding schools, as well as helping out with my friends horses whenever possible. I recently helped my riding instructor with her ottb, helping to retrain her into an all round riding horse

I specialised my dissertation looking into the behaviour and time budgets of riding school horses, and how this could be affected through management practices.

During my final year I opted to specialise in equine nutrition, in which my final module was based around designing a feed which would optimise the performance of the given horse; a flat racehorse who had previously suffered with gastric ulcers.

I have experience of riding horses of all sizes, ranging from typical cobs to ex racehorses and elementary level dressage horses.

Despite a lot of my experience being based at riding schools, most of my lessons in the past 3/4 years were spent riding my instructors horses with the occasional livery horse in for training.

At uni I rode on a weekly basis, focusing mainly on flatwork, but at home enjoyed jump schooling courses up to 1 metre 20.

I participated in unaffiliated dressage and show jumping competitions at snainton riding centre, placing in the top 5 each time
