Equine Work Experience
I possess approximately 18 years of experience in the racing industry.
I was previously employed at a rescue charity for almost 6 years, where I was primarily responsible for the intensive care yard. My duties involved veterinary work and assisting in the foaling of horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules.
Furthermore, I have nearly 5 years of experience working as a stud groom at a racehorse stud. Currently, I am employed as a stud groom at a dressage stud, where I have gained expertise in AI+ET, foaling mares and nurturing the foals. Assisting with the Vet and Farrier on a Daily/Weekly basis.

In my professional experience, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of equines, including racehorses, broodmares, foals, and stallions, as well as ponies, donkeys, and mules. I can turn out to a high standard, Very quick and through at mucking out, I have been in sole charge of yards aswel as being Team Leader and Travelling Had lass. I can also drive a 2 stall horsebox
Type of Ride Work
Throughout my 18-year career training Racehorses, I have acquired substantial expertise in the handling and training of thoroughbred racehorses. My proficiency encompasses working with both problem horses and green horses, as well as employing lunging and riding away techniques to break in yearlings. I possess proficiency in stall work and maintain a comprehensive understanding of racetrack work. While I have experience in both flat work and jumping, my primary focus was flat racing.
Competition Details
During my 18-year tenure in the horse racing industry, I held the position of Travelling Head Lass, where I gained extensive experience and expertise in the field. I have been a Stud Groom for nearly 5 years so have expertise in Turning out to a high standard for competitions.
