General yard duties, schooling and training horses on the yard, competing BD, planning competitions. Writing up training notes on horses and planning what to do with each horse based on their weaknesses. Organising vets, farriers, pyhsios etc
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding for 30 years now since starting when 4 years old. Through my time I have worked on in a riding school, a livery yard and for a show producing yard. Through my teenage years I worked weekends and holidays on the livery yard, and also during my time at University. Once leaving University I worked full time on a show producing yard for one year then moved back onto the livery yard. I am confident in running a yard sole charge and have an exceptional eye for detail. I have owned my own horse for a couple of years now, and can safely say that I treat any horse under my care with the same due care and attention that I give my own. Prior to owning my own horse I have loaned several horses and ridden for a Sport Horse yard, riding youngsters through to more experienced advanced horses.
