I was 8 years old when I first started riding. After a year of riding I began to spend the day helping out to do general yard work and I stopped when I got my first job at 13. I volunteered to help at the yard again when I was 17. Work included; mucking out, feeding, grooming, turning out and preparing horses for lessons.
