Duties of Current Occupation
I confidently work as a team and solely taking care of competition horses to a high standard. This includes mucking out, general yard duties, customer service (dealing with customers requests) and riding many different horses.
Equine Work Experience
Age 9-15: Volunteering at a busy riding school carrying out all yard duties and riding. Also promoted to head girl dealing with customers. Age 15-17: Working at a top dressage livery yard dealing with competition horses. Age 17-Age 20: Working at a dealing/show jumping yard where I ride all different types of horses. I also handle foals and young horses on a daily basis. Confident around all types of horses. This job has also given me a lot of experience in customer care and customer service. Age 20-22 Head girl at a busy family hunt yard with 25 liveries. This involved taking younger horses hunting, plaiting, occasional clipping, schooling flat and jumping. Age 23-24 Breaking and backing young racehorses, retraining racehorse for all rounder careers. Making sure all horse are groomed and schooled to an excellent standard.
