I own four of my own horses and care for 4 other horses. My duties are mucking out, poop picking, feeding, showering, plaiting, hoof picking, leg feather care, wound management, applying bandages, mane and tail care, turning out, lead training.
I haven’t worked in a professional environment, I have stables on my property and I have my horses here and look after the other horses on my property too. I would love to be a part of a professional environment and learn more about equine health, care, maintenance.
I do have a fairly new TikTok account with my horses on it is :- www.tiktok.com/@teri15.x
I currently own a gypsy cob filly, a thoroughbred, a broodmare and her 3 month filly. I care for a mare, a mare currently in foal, a cob colt and a stallion. Horses are my passion and I genuinely care and love each one I look after as if they were my own, I am kind but firm to the horses and I hold my ground when leading as we all know every horse can have an off day. I am quick at mucking out and I love to keep a tidy yard and stable. I always put everything into the task I am doing.
I have ridden the stallion here bareback as this is how he has been ridden by his owner but just at a walk as I am only starting myself as my own horses are all under 4 years old I have owned them all since 8 months old so I planned to learn for when they are old enough to be ridden but I would love the opportunity to learn how to start a horse and would appreciate any advice on riding. I have driven horses and I am confident on the reins while harness driving.
I have not had any competition experience.
