BTEC Equestrian Studies;-I did this on a yard with Carriage Horses. Level 4 Horsemanship;- Distinction in stable & yard routine and merit in horse riding. General care;- mucking out, feeding inside and out, turning out, bringing in, grooming, bathing, tack cleaning, lunging, long-reinning, tacking up etc. I've done work with rescue horses and donkeys. Raised my own foal who is now 9 who I broke myself. Been an au pair/stable hand so have experience with children too and helping them safely enjoy their ponies and continue to learn about caring for their ponies. Experience tidying up horses for sales and with broodmares, foalwatching (and foaling) though these are things I can improve in. Also have experience handling thoroughbreds, showjumpers, youngstock and colts. Happy handling green and quirky horses on the ground and starting breakers with their groundwork.
