My name is Keri Doherty, I am based in Omagh Co Tyrone. I am a caring, driven, hard working individual who has a passion and love for horses and animals. I have 14 years of experience under my belt and a drive to deliver quality care to horses.Qualifications
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management at Cafre Enniskillen Campus
Duties of Current Occupation
Mucking out to a high standard, feeding duties including tweaking dietary requirements for specific horses. Groom, wash and plait to a high standard and tacking/untacking. Lungeing, long reining etc. Have also held lessons and helping out at shows.
Equine Work Experience
I have owned horses and have helped produce/ridden all kinds of horses including young/green horses. I have taught group lessons including flatwork and jumping. I have assisted in the breaking of young horses.I have been cross country on multiple occasions and beach riding. I also worked on a stud farm so have handled foals. I have been a groom at a large bust competition yard and am capable of working under pressure and to a high standard. I have competed in showjumping shows up to 1m10. I have ridden thoroughbreds on the track and over fences.
