Level 2 technical certificate in equine management Level 3 advanced technical in equine management

I used to work as an event groom, in north northumberland where i would carry out day-to-day tasks like mucking out, feeding, tidying yard, tacking up for owner, turning in/out, and exercising horses etc. I also went to an equine college.

I’ve had a lot of experience since a young age, i went from riding schools, up to own some own horses, then to working on a yard, as i got older i got the chance to go to an equine college where i studied my level 2 technical certificate in equine management (landing a distinction) - leading into me studying my level 3 advanced technical in equine management (landing a merit). I then went on to work at an event yard, which i further developed my training and skills.

I have worked with foals in the past, however not worked with stallions as much, leading a team isn’t something i got the chance to do however i got very close to becoming head girl at the event yard, high turn out was a constant must.

I’ve got lots of experience doing flatwork, however for jumping in currently comfortable jumping at 80-90cm…unless out hunting where the height seems to be no issue! i have been hunting a few times and love the thrill of it. I’ve ridden racehorses before too.

I’ve competed myself, in a range of different shows/events, and also was an event groom.
