I have not completed any equine related courses or college qualifications.

My main duties include assisting patients with personal care / hygiene, physiological observations including taking blood pressures, temperatures, checking heart rates etc as well as working as part of a team alongside senior staff members.

I have not worked in a professional equestrian environment before.

I have owned 3 horses in total over the past 6 years and have looked after liveries throughout. I have previously volunteered in pony clubs and helping with riding lessons for customers and therefore have experience with grooming, mucking out, leading teams as well as turning out horses and riding. I am aware of the importance of keeping yards tidy and safety when around horses.

I have no experience in starting a horse. I have ridden horses for flatwork lessons, pole work lessons, some jumping lessons to work on problem areas and hacking.

I have not competed in any professional competitions, only yard riding competitions and fun days / pony games. I have not been a competition groom.
