I have worked with horses for the past 10 years and have grown up with them.

My equine work experience is very varied. I have worked as a groom on a busy event/stud yard, as part of a small team. I also went to events and turned the horses out for competition. I hacked out a wide range of horses, ranging from green youngsters to 4* event horses.

For 2 years I was a veterinary assistant at a busy equine vets. Here I handled a variety of horses, from stallions to foals and was heavily involved in the artificial insemination breeding program as well as helping vets during consultations and procedures. I gained invaluable equine knowledge. I also worked on reception and have fantastic customer services skills.

More recently I have worked on a small flat racing yard. I carried out all general yard duties, rode out and went to the races all over the country with the horses, leading them up and turning them. I have won best turned out on numerous occasions.

I have competed up to preliminary dressage and unaffiliated jumping and eventing up to 90cm.

I have assisted in breaking horses and ridden away very young/green horses.

I have ridden racehorses from 2 year olds to older, more experienced rides.
