I have just finished my Level 3 equine management course at kirkley hall and i’m predicted a merit as an end of both year grade. I learned the biological side of horses, how to prepare a horse for preparation, feeding and nutrition, working horses from the ground, equitation, business management, riding horses on the flat and jumping, and rehab and therapy. We did some clipping and bandaging in my first year but never carried it on in my second year.

I’ve done work experience at a yard where they do endurance and i’ve helped my friend out quite a bit with her 2 mares helping her school them and take them out hacking. I also used to own an ex-race thoroughbred for a year.

i’ve ridden tb’s, cobs, ISH, warmbloods, connie’s, and welshies. I’ve done loads of flatwork and i have jumped up to 1m.

I haven’t competed yet, it’s my dream to go out competing doing show jumping and xc. with my work experience i helped them get ready for a show and went to watch.
