Qualifications
My main qualification is in Fabrication and welding however I hold diplomas in Equine Nutrition and feeds, Animal Psychology and Veterinary assistance. However I do have 13 years professional work experience with and around horses.
Equine Work Experience
I have much equine experience from general groom and yard duties to management roles, teaching and training as well as veterinary assistant roles. I have also previously owned horses over my time and had my own breeding yard for Andalusian horses, so with this I am use to and capable of handling and training stallions and Youngstock as well as the medical and physical care of pregnant mares. With this I have worked with many different horses from many backgrounds, (mainly trouble or problem horses) and using horse psychology knowledge, and with the training practices I have previously used, to bring these horses back around. I have also has the responsibility of the general care and maintenance of other farm and exotic animals. From having my own land and stables I am also very aware of land maintenance and care and thoroughly enjoy this. My main role being training horses for stunts and films.
Specialities
I have previously worked in many job roles from fabrication, so I am able to easily fix fencing, trailers, stables ect. I have also worked in admin/P.A/events, So I am great at prioritizing work and working under pressure and in a professional manner. I have also worked within the media/animal sector where I have been responsible for the care, maintenance and training of animals on and off of t.v and film sets.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden both English and Spanish for most of my life. I have also previously rode and taught vaulting as well as stunt/trick riding but most of my experience has been in training the horses themselves. I have also competed and rode in cross country and show jumping as well as gymkhana, barrel racing and other equestrian games. I have done some, but very little western riding. My main joy and passion is endurance as this is what I use to do with my previous Arab stallion.
