Duties of Current Occupation
I spent last summer in Canada working training young horses for sale at a ranch. I'm currently at university but looking for a job this summer from 15th June onwards.
Equine Work Experience
I have owned and competed horses all my life, eventing up to BE100. I've owned and solely cared for my own horses so I'm knowledgable regarding all aspects of equine care. Last summer I worked on a horse ranch in Canada which included training young horses (3-5 year olds) for sale as trail riding horses, handling/loading broodmares with foals and general yard duties. This included feeding + caring for a litter of new pups and looking after other dogs.
Type of Ride Work
Exercising and schooling horses for competition (jumping and dressage). Competing in eventing and showjumping. Training prebroken young horses for sale.
Competition Details
Competed up to BE100 for 3 seasons and 2 seasons previously in unaffiliated showjumping on ponies up to 90cm.
