Duties of Current Occupation
Year 11 I work at Sherwood Forest trecking Center with multiple horses and clients every weekend plus more in the holidays
Equine Work Experience
I started riding at 7, got my first pony on loan at 8 then loaned a few more including a Welsh section D chestnut mare, a cob and a thoroughbred plus I exercised another thoroughbred for a friend.I now have got my own horse, which is a 16hh thoroughbred mare. I also work at Sherwood Forest trecking Center part time so I handle multiple horses.I have only worked there since I was 14. I am now turning 16 this August.
Specialities
At my part time job, poo picking, feeding, mucking out and handling horses is required. I also have my own thoroughbred me on a DIY yard which of course requires yard duties.
Type of Ride Work
All horses I have ridden have been green so have spooked/bucked and reared with me. I currently own a green mare as well as showjumping (low level) her in our weekly lessons with a BHS qualified coach. I have mostly been a happy hacker, now I want to take riding seriously.
