Duties of Current Occupation

I am currently employed as a Travelling Event Groom after working in a family hunting yard previous to this. I also oversee the yard on a day to day basis when I am not at competitions.

Equine Work Experience

I was born into a hunting family and have therefore been brought up within an equestrian lifestyle. My father was an MFH and my mother was a groom; I have learnt extensive knowledge from them both. Since completing my A Levels and leaving school, i have worked in 2 roles of employment working the equine industry; one being in a family hunting yard and the other being in a top event yard where I still work. I feel I am now ready to move on and into a role with more responsibilities such as a Head Girl position.

Specialities

I currently work with top class eventers as well as stallions, handling them on a day to day basis, taking the necessary precautions whilst doing so. I have extremely high standards of turnout and take pride in presenting the horses and yard to a high standard.

Type of Ride Work
  • Hunting- I have hunted a range of different horses, crossing all types of country
  • Evented up to 100 level
  • Competed in dressage up to Pony Club Open level- I qualified for the National PC championship on many occasions, winning the overall champion in 2016.
  • Showjumped up to 1.10
Competition Details
