Equine Work Experience
I have worked at a professional showjumping yard as a home groom. This job role was a temporary 6 month role before I enrolled in university, which I have now completed with a Bachelors in Equine Science. I have been riding and caring for my own horses for almost 20 years, competing in various disciplines.
Specialities
I have worked in many customer facing roles and have excellent communication and social skills. I'm calm under pressure and work well when facing obstacles. Additionally, I take pride in maintaining high standards of health and hygiene, and am tidy and efficient. I have experience with many types of horses from ex racers to m&m ponies and am confident handling horses of all natures and ages.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience in riding young and green horses and have some experience with breaking in, and have done mobile livery and schooling services for a number of years. I am currently reschooling an ex-racer which is proving to be an exciting challenge. I have competed in ridden showing and showjumping over the years and am also an avid fan of drag hunting. I'm not phased by horses with quirks or behavioural problems and try to use a science-based approach when dealing with these.

Competed in unaffiliated and affiliated shows and groom my own horses to a high standard for these competitions.
