Currently studying for an Equine Science degree at Moreton Morrell College.
Duties of Current Occupation
Student currently studying an equine science degree. Graduating summer 2019. Experience with a wide variety of horses on livery and riding school yards, owned and loaned horses for 10+ years.
Equine Work Experience
15+ years around horses, worked on yards as a part time groom since 9 years old. Been in sole charge, worked as a team, taken bookings and payments in a busy riding school. Knowledge of hunting, however not hunted myself. Groomed at events (ODEs, DR, SJ etc). Owned my own horse for 6 or so years, previously loaned for many years before that. Trained my horse up to novice/elementary level DR from a 4 year old.
Type of Ride Work
Not ridden for a while due to sad loss of horse. But previously competed regularly and ridden a variety of disciplined and happy hacking out.
Competition Details
Competed for my local riding club at BRC events with great success in dressage. Worked with and managed my high school equestrian team on my own, taking the team to the NSEA county championships in 2016. Competed combined training up to 80cm, Dressage up to elementary. Regularly placed top 3 or first at prelim and novice level dressage.
