Having started riding at age 11, I quickly found my passion with horses and soon began helping out at weekends at the yard where I started lessons. I quickly became an employed groom there. I then went on to complete my level 2 City and Guilds apprenticeship in work based horse care at 16. I continued working for the yard until 2021. After that I moved to a small livery yard where I was manager of 15 liveries and had a couple of weekend girls employed to cover my days off. I was responsible for every aspect of the yard. After this, I went on to work for a lovely private family yard where they did a mixture of things from hunting, to showjumping, to teamchasing to family fun rides with the kids. During this time I also cared for other animals such as goats, pigs, chickens, lambs, a parrot, a bearded dragon, tortoises and any other weird any wonderful things my boss brought home on her adventures! I also did some nannying whilst working for them as well as some cleaning!
