I studied a BHS stable management course a few years ago, but other than that I have self taught through owning my own horses.
Equine Work Experience
I am currently backing my own horse and I own another 2. I have been riding for as long as I can remember and I have always found an amazing connection with horses. Everyday I am up early turning out my horses and mucking our, grooming, etc and I love it! I have found over the years that I have a great connection with horses on the ground as well as under saddle. And this has taken me to understand more about the horses body language and the way they think. I love being around horses wether this is mucking out of riding and this is why I am looking for a job as it would be doing what I love.
Type of Ride Work
I excel schooling on the flat and do not jump often. I am backing my own youngster at the moment so I have learned to lunge and desensitise very well.
