Duties of Current Occupation
I have sole charge on a yard of polo ponies. The day to day care of the horses, exercising and the welfare of the horses. Making sure horses are tacked up and ready on polo days.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked with horses and on yards properly since I was 12, helping out in the school holidays on a trekking centre. I have worked in a riding school, and I have helped bring on and produce young stock. Currently working with many different breeds of horses on a polo yard. Schooling a mix of ponies and Horses from retraining ex racehorses to the high goal polo ponies.
Type of Ride Work
I ride anything and always have just been able to get on anything, from the more relaxed horses to the absolute nutters who make you feel like your on a rodeo. I love jumping, but have recently been trying to improve my flat work.
Competition Details
Not competed to a high level, however my dream is to get out eventing. I have been involved in cross country, SJ and flatwork clinics. Highest I’ve jumped is 1m10.
