Level 1, 2 and 3 of BHA racing

Everyday yard duties eg, mucking out, turning out, feeding . Riding daily to making sure the horses are working to their full potential and Making sure horses are race fit, and prepared properly for the races. Eg plaiting and quarter marks

I have worked in racing for 6 years, doing both yard work and riding often taking sole charge of the yard when necessary . I also have experience in showing a number of different breeds including my own stallions, mares and foals, which I have bred. I also have done judging at agricultural shows for many different classes. On top of all of that I have helped break in several horses.

I can work with horses of all sizes and ages and I am also able to adapt my approach to deal with all different types of behaviours. I have also have experience in breaking in horses, preparing horses for racing including plaiting, cleaning and turning them out to a high standard. I also have experience in foaling and would be confident to deal with complications that came with foaling. I also have had experience working with stallions, and youngsters, including showing my own.

I have basic riding work, and have done race training including schooling

I have been doing in hand showing since an early age and I have worked at a several national hunt and flat yards, which includes taking horses to races and preparing them. I have also won best turned out and am confident in producing a high standard in turnout.
