My equine knowledge has been developed through extensive practical experience rather than formal qualifications. With over 15 years' hands-on experience, including managing my own Spanish horse stud, breeding, welfare, handling stallions and youngstock and complete yard management, I bring substantial real-world knowledge and capability.

Managed all aspects of a busy Spanish horse stud, including breeding, horse welfare, feeding, turnout, yard and grazing management, client care, vet/farrier coordination, competition preparation, daily routines and hands-on yard duties.

Horses have been part of my life since the age of five, and I have over 15 years of extensive hands-on equine experience. I managed my own Spanish horse stud, breeding and producing Spanish dressage horses and taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the yard. My experience includes confident handling of stallions, mares, foals, youngstock and horses of varied temperaments, alongside breeding, welfare, feeding, turnout, grazing management and yard routines. I coordinated veterinary and farrier care, managed clients, diaries and appointments, prepared horses for competition and maintained consistently high standards throughout the stud. I am practical, observant and confident around horses and understand the importance of putting welfare first. I am now looking to return professionally to the equine industry, bringing extensive experience, knowledge, leadership and a genuine lifelong passion for horses.

Over 15 years' hands-on experience with horses, with particular experience handling stallions, mares, foals and youngstock. Strong background in breeding and managing Spanish horses, stud and yard management, welfare, horse behaviour and safe, confident handling. Experienced in leadership, organising workloads, client relationships and taking responsibility for maintaining excellent standards of care and smooth day-to-day yard operations.

Experienced in flatwork and low-level dressage, with a lifelong riding background and particular experience with Spanish horses. Confident riding and handling a variety of horses and temperaments, with a calm, patient approach and a strong understanding of horse behaviour, welfare and individual needs.

I have attended and competed at Spanish/Iberian horse shows with horses from my own breeding yard, Clients horses also, including preparing and presenting our own horses for competition. My competition experience comes through managing and producing horses from our stud rather than working professionally as a competition groom.
