I have previously had experience in livery, completion and riding school work. In all 3 job roles I have had to excel in general yard duties and continued to expand my knowledge and also running sole charge.

I have worked with horses since I was 13. I started off by volunteering where I started getting horses ready for lessons but also maintaining the yard and learning the basics of horse care. I had an apprenticeship at a livery yard which then turned into a riding school - this is where my coaching journey started. I continued to explore my passion for coaching at Wellington Riding, where I also helped on the yard but also with the Liveries. I have done a little bit of work at a private eventing yard just before joining Wellington. Since June 2024, I have explored the commotion world, grooming for a dressage rider where I have learnt turning horses out to a high standard at completions but also maintaining then at home also, as a team and sole charge.

I believe I put the horses welfare at the top of my care. I really take pride in the turnout of horses in competitions - even thought I’ve only started doing this in the past year, it’s a real passion and I love the reward of seeing the horses turned out to a high standard. I’ve previously done work with Stallions and foals. Also done some sole charge work, where I handle my time sufficiently whilst keeping the horses top of the care and the yard clean and tidy.

Mainly flat work and hacking.
