Qualifications
I do not currently have any BHS qualifications. However I do have the following Level 2 Horse Care (City&Guilds) at a Distinction Level Level 3 Equine Management Technical Diploma (City&Guilds) at a Merit Level
Duties of Current Occupation
My current role has nothing to do with the equine world. On the past I have ridden for clients in dressage and show jumping. I’ve worked on a stud yard handling foals and broodmares. I’ve also been a groom and I’ve volunteered in riding schools
Equine Work Experience
I’ve competed in dressage up to Novice and I’ve jumped up to 110cm courses unaffiliated. I have worked with broodmares and foals. I’ve also worked in riding schools in which I handled small children as well. I’ve also volunteered in a small equine rehab centre briefly. I’m currently on my physical recovery after a severe injury 2 years ago. I’ve been given the all clear and now am slowly getting myself back into shape
Specialities
I have a knack when it comes to horses that have issues mentally. I’ve worked with a number of horses that have had a range of mental traumas
Type of Ride Work
Preferably flat/ground work. My confidence is much more in the area of dressage. I’m also happy working with horses that are difficult to ride due to behavioural traits like bucking etc
