With over 6 years in the animal care industry, working with a huge range of species and over 1 year specifically with horses and farm animals at an animal sanctuary. I am a quick learner with an excellent eye for detail and passion for animal care.Duties of Current Occupation
Animal care assistant. I previously worked at a farm animal sanctuary that was also home to a number of horses and ponies. I would clean out, feed, turn out, bathe, groom and manage the grazing of each individual.
Equine Work Experience
For over a year, I have worked with horses at a sanctuary with greatly varying needs and temperaments. From younger, more energetic horses and ponies to the very old ponies.
Specialities
During the last few months of my employment I would be left in charge of the small team when the sanctuary manager was off or on holiday.
