Turning Out, Schooling, Hacking, Mucking Out, Making feeds, Haying, Lunging, Hand walking, Bringing in, Yard maintenance (Sweeping, Cleaning, Muck Heap), Local competitions, Plaiting, Grooming.

Volunteered at a riding school for around 2 years after school from 5pm til 8:30pm Monday to Friday then All day Saturday and Sunday mucking out, turning out and bringing in, watering fields/poo picking fields, schooling, helping in riding lessons, haying, feeds. Then moved to a quieter yard owning a 4 year old ridden mare until she was 7 then sold and bought a yearling filly to show to county level. After GCSEs moved to High wycombe to train for Level 2 equine apprenticeship. Dealing with a variety of horses and clients to meet their requirements.

Showing In hand and Ridden. Grooming to a high standard. Schooling. Lunging with training aids. Dealing with wounds. Dealing with vets, farriers and dentists. Handling horses needing restraint.

Ridden my own green mare that I had bought as a 4 year old has some experience in the school but needed establishing in the outline and transitions. A lot of flat work haven’t done much jumping only to a height of 60cm. Ridden some difficult horses to hack and school. Will be assisting backing my 2 year old filly when time comes.

Been to multiple county shows where I have compete myself placing in most classes where I have also groomed for myself (Royal Cheshire County, Traditional of the year, Royal Windsor) and along with local shows.

Groomed at Dressage competitions taking a difficult to load horse plaiting and preparing the night before packing the lorry, cleaning tack, oiling feet this was at my competition yard. Also done stay away shows.
