Since being 3/4 years old riding has been my passion, from being young I helped at local riding schools mucking out to gain riding privileges. at around13/14 I loaned my own pony until she happily went into retirement. At 18 I studied at Northern Racing College where I gained an NVQ in Racehorse care & continued on in employment on a racing yard where I was solely responsible for the daily care of several racehorses, I often attended races where I would groom, prepare & lead out the horse for its upcoming race. Around 3 years later I began working at a trecking Center for disabled & disadvantaged young adults. I loved this role more than any other as I had a real sense that I was helping & making a difference to people’s lives. My duties involved seeing to the daily care of the 8 Horses along with taking care of the students and ensuring everyone’s safety and well-being.

I have previously worked at an RDA approved trecking Center where I thoroughly loved supporting the students & sharing my passion of Horses with them. Im very good with children as I have 2 of my own and in my previous role I regularly volunteered to take holiday guests children out on a hack in my ow time.

I have previously worked on race yards & trecking centers for the disabled aswell as privately owned family stables.
