9 GCSES levels 4-6 And upto C+ in Pony Club as well as plenty of badges I have my level one in racehorse care and riding And my transporting horses certificate

have over 9 years experience in the equine industry. Have competed, exercised other people’s horses and attended pony club for several years, as well as working at my old riding school for two years, completing general stable managements tasks and also helping young children learning to ride. I also attended the NHC (national horse racing college) in November 2020 and passed my level one in race horse care and also gained my transporting horses certificate. I also had a placement at Ella Pickard Racing for awhile before I had to leave due to the owner moving and there no longer being accommodation available. I’m looking for a job with horses, preferably with accommodation so I can live away from home if necessary. If it’s possible for a job in racing I’d like to complete my level two in racehorse care and riding, so the employer would need to be willing to take on an apprentice :)

I have previous experience of leading people when I had to teach younger children at my riding school. I also have experience leading a time and working to the best of my ability under pressure, as we were taught to work very quickly and efficiently at college and at Ella Pickard Racing in order to get everything finished in time. For example when we did work place challenge day at college we only had a very short amount of time to get our horses ready for best turned out.

I have ridden a range of different horses. Including young, green, inexperienced horses as well as older schoolmasters and of course young racehorses too. I’ve previously trained a 4 y/o Shetland and have also helped to start horses at 3-4 years of age. As well as exercising racehorses up the gallops and riding the ex-racers at college. I’am also currently riding a 5 y/o cob and bringing him on. I’ve competed throughout PC and can school, jump, hack and also work a racehorse.

I have previously competed at low level unaffiliated events in showjumping and dressage and have also competed with my Pony Club getting placed in Le Trec, Pony Club Dressage and also Show jumping. I have previously worked in a race yard around horses that were racing fit so I’m used to riding young fit horses.
