Duties of Current Occupation
Equine Groom- Sole charge of livery yard, including all daily tasks of care. Administrative Assistant- Organised and digitised files, managed data entry, and tracked data collection progress. Sales Assistant - currently.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked with horses for over a decade, with experience working with eventers, showing ponies, and livery yards. I have competed to grassroots eventing and elementary dressage. I pride myself in an individual approach to each animal, in their management, care and training. I have experience handling and managing fit event horses, ex-racehorses and young horses. I have broken horses in in the past and greatly enjoy educating youngsters, giving them the best introduction into their ridden career in a compassionate and kind manner.
Specialities

Detail-oriented, noticing small changes to a horses' demeanor or surroundings to allow for seamless support for the animal Experience in individual planning for each animal, based on biomechanics and temperament to create an individual plan of exercise and management, for fitness or rehabilitation. Type of Ride Work
Trained classically in dressage. Experience in breaking in and producing youngsters. Ridden a wide range of horses, from eventers, ex-racehorses, showing ponies, cobs, warmbloods. At university I competed in BUCS, where you compete on unknown horses to complete a set dressage test and show jumping round, giving a 5-10 minute warm up to get to know the horse. I was very successful in this, placing and winning at many shows. I regard groundwork very highly and spend a lot of time on the basics.
Competition Details
Competed eventing up to BE100, Elementary dressage. Groomed at competitions at grassroots and international eventing level (2*). Worked at yards with competition horses, always aiming to give individual support to each animal.
