Equine Work Experience
I have owned and been around horses from a very young age.
I attended pony club for nearly 20 years, competing in most disciplines. I have competed at BE level, and currently I am bringing on a young horse hopefully with the aim to compete him.
I subscribed to two hunts, the United Pack and the South Shropshire. I have hunted from a young age also. I take huge amounts of pride in the turn out and maintenance of my horses. I currently solely look after 5 hunters, of which belong to family and friends.
Over the summer in 2020, I worked full time at Twemlows Stud farm, I was allocated sole charge of a yard of top mares (14 boxes), these included olympic showjumping and dressage mares in for Embryo Transfer, I also developed skills such as veterinary experience, and all round management of the horses. Daily duties included being in charge of feeding, ensuring they maintained top line without being ridden, management routine for their turnout and exercise on the walker.
Specialities
I am a hard working, reliable and punctual individual. I have an incredibly high level of pride regarding my own achievements so far. I can demonstrate integrity and compassion through my role as a nanny.
Type of Ride Work
My ridden experience is about 20 years, being taught in the Pony Club I would like to assume I am a very competent and gentle rider. I have had showjumping and cross country lessons with Yogi Breisner, Lisa Green and dressage instruction from Richard Davidson.
