A mature and reliable individual with transferrable skills and a varied work experience, seeks a temp role to complete Ride Safe & general riding. Opportunity to ride out/develop in-hand work welomed. Home counties preferred.
Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
Just life experience with horses and willingness to learn so much more.
Although my time in college was shortened and I did not receive my qualification, I take great pride in my mucking out which are to a professional standard.
As I previously mentioned, I grew up around horses and began riding at a young age.
I began helping my mum on a livery yard at very young age and was told l could not ride until the work was completed. I have always ridden ponies and horses. As I grew in to a young adult I started pushing myself to learn more about young horses, I have done some basic backing and read a few books.
I then went to college for two years to study horse care. I wanted to go higher and progress my career with horses, but due to circumstances at the time I had to leave the course and find full time work. Through the past eight years I have had my own horses and also horses on loan.
I did a lot of work with a four year old 16hh mare. I started with the basics on the floor work and slowly backed her and took her to little shows and fun rides.I have also backed a few of my friends Arabs, that she breeds.
I currently work in market drayton Lidl as I have recently moved and required a job. I am a hard working individual and whilst I enjoy the job, I wish to further my work with horses.
Growing up with horses and working with them previously, I feel ready to further my experience and passion for horses.
My type of riding is a little bit of everything. I enjoy hacking out show jumping and fun rides. I will pretty much ride anything. I have had a few horses on loan which have required lots of handling/floor work.
I have taken part in a fairly large number of local competitions such as dressage, show jumping and cross country. I mainly competed for fun as my main interest is bringing horses on from a young age which is something I wish to learn more about.
