Bio
I am a hard, reliable worker, not deterred by bad weather. I love working with horses and hold myself to a high standard. I'm always happy to jump into hands-on work, even in muddy or horrible conditions, and I'm eager to learn new things.
Qualifications

I spent 2 years earning my level 2 advanced diploma in equine care and management, in which I earned one merit and two passes. I have my First Aider at Work and quad bike and tractor driving qualifications. I completed all my gcse's and passed English maths science.

Duties of Current Occupation

My past work has varied from a small part-time waitress job, working for two riding schools that also provide livery and spent 3 months in army training.

Equine Work Experience

I have acquired lots of experience providing daily care, grooming, initial first aid to horses, facility maintenance and in-hand exercise of the horses, as well as handling customers and the public

Specialities

I have had a little bit of experience handling foals and pregnant mares during work experience, which was at a large yard with a substantial number of horses. In army training, they taught us how to work in cold and wet conditions, living out in the woods in the middle of the British winter and working solo on a livery yard with 30 horses. I have used and been trained on most equipment that is frequently used, i.e. quad bikes, tractors, gators, sprinkler systems, arena harrows, field implements

Type of Ride Work

I am a competent rider on the flat and hacking, while I have jumped and taken horses XC, I have not done it regularly, so not as confident but eager to do so. I have ridden a wide range of horses as part of a riding school, but I have not had a lot of experience with young horses. I ride English but am excited to learn Western. would love to have the opportunity to ride and further my education in other areas of riding. Wouldn't be a deal breaker if not available.

Competition Details

I have no experience in competitions.
