Bhs stage 1 and 2 including ride care and lunge Equine management level 3 - overall qualification distinction star. When at college I got a distinction in biological systems of the horse,exercising of horses (merit) i also go a distinction in competition grooming and my synoptic assessment. I also passed my level 3 health and safety theory exam

Longnor bloodstock - general yard duties, turned in / out young stock . Ride the family horses. Made feeds up. Groomed / bathed. Helped with vets and farrier.

I have my own horse who I keep on DIY livery . I have been to multiple work experience placements along side school and college . For example I had experience at stoneyford riding school when I was at belvidere secondary school . I then studied at walford college for 2 years doing equine management level 3 . Part of this was course work and practical work . As part of my first college year I did work experience at walford college . In the second year I did my work experience at lostford equine rehabilitation where I worked with race horses and rehabilitation horses . I had the opportunity to learn some rehabilitation techniques for example red light therapy and equine hydrotherapy . I have also done bhs level 1 and 2 which included riding ,lunging and grooming . After this i went to longner bloodstock where i handled youngsters.

I have worked with foals . Getting them used to being handled.

I have ridden a range of horses including project ponies, well schooled horses ,retraining racehorse and green horses . I have jumped ,ridden up the gallops .
