BHS Ride Safe Award

Freelance groom & beginner instructor (will travel to you), I'm currently studying Zoology at university (commuting from home) of which I have to attend an average of 3 days a week, however I will most likely not be returning until October 2020.

Between the ages of 5-11 I had numerous share/loan ponies before finally getting my own in 2012, in 2015 I started competing at local shows and by 2017 I had moved onto affiliated British Eventing competitions. As a groom, I have had official work experience at Freshfields Riding Centre and Lockley Wood Dressage as well as caring for my own horse everyday for 7 years, I've also assisted friends as a groom at events such as Staffordshire County Show. As an instructor I don't have any official qualifications (I do have my BHS Ride Safe and am currently saving up funds to gain further BHS qualifications). I have however had regular lessons throughout my riding life and for the past two years have been a student of a Grand Prix dressage rider whom I have also been a part time working pupil for, from this I received an immense amount of invaluable knowledge regarding both riding and management as well as giving me experience riding Grand Prix dressage horses.
