Equine Work Experience
I have worked and owned horses for the past 17 years as it’s been a family affair all my life .... I have worked on hunt yards and a family hunt and completion yard where horses had to be turned out to a high standard also schooling and hacking for fitness making there food and mucking out to a high standard .. I have worked and shown shire horses all my life ploughing .. cart work.. riding and getting ready for shows to a high standard ... I own 3 of my own horses so I know how to look after horses look for problems and different diet requirement for each horse. Also getting horses ready for my employer to come out and ride and then sorting the horse out for them after words and always turned out to a high standard .
Getting horses ready for showing and riding turn out .... ( can be a perfectionist ) I can school young horses to a good standard .. I know what to look for if they are taken Ill ... I love horses and they seem to love me ... I have broken horses in the past anything from shires to hunt horses ... I’m a good hard worker I can work in team and just get on with what I’m told to do
Type of Ride Work
I can school to a good standard and get horses fit ready for work and hunting .. I can hack out and carry on the schooling out on the hack .. I can not jump it’s never been my strong point ... I can lunge horses to a good standard when riding isn’t required or recovering from an injury
I have only ever shown horses and gotten horses ready for competition for my employer they always did the comps I just got them ready and fit for them.
