Before leaving school, I volunteered at a riding school which turned into paid work for 2 years which involved preparing horses for lessons, mucking out, poo picking, turning out and feeding.

Previously have taken full charge of a small livery yard when owner has gone out competing, ensuring everything is kept clean and tidy and mucking out has been completed to a high standard.

I started off my riding on school horses before taking on a nervy Welsh D to build his confidence. I then had a schoolmaster on full loan who I was taking to local low level unaffiliated showjumping. I have also loaned a couple retired thoroughbreds and have ridden arabs more recently. I have re-backed and am bringing on a young Arab at present.

I have been out and competed in small local showjumping competitions and a bit of low level showing with a previous schoolmaster.
