I haven’t yet acquired any professional equine experience. I am looking forward to getting stuck in and learning as much as I can. I want to get my foot in the door in the professional equine industry. My previous experience is mostly hacking and I used to be part of the pony club at a local riding school many years ago. I can walk, trot, canter unassisted and I am able to control a horse both from the ground and from the saddle. Although I have some knowledge, there is lots of room for improvement. I currently loan/borrow a few horses at a farm local to me. I am looking to expand my knowledge into the professional field and develop my equine knowledge as much as possible.

I have experience working as part of a team and being able to listen to others as well as put my own opinions and thoughts across. I am a motivated individual who always puts in 100% effort with every task to achieve the best possible outcome. I am a quick thinker and a quick learner. I am always willing to try. Most of my equine experience has been hacking and learning basic skills at a riding school. I know how to keep a tidy yard and I know how to keep a clean stable.

In the past I have usually ridden something smaller in height, I am currently riding a couple of Arab’s at a local farm.

I have done some jumping in the past although not for a fair few years and it is not something I like to do. I had quite a long break from working with horses during my teenage years and I have only got back into hacking out in the countryside recently. I am a keen learner and will try anything that is put in front of me.
