Equestrian sport is not a job; I see it as a lifestyle, one that is both suited and sculpted around my outlook and goals in life. I believe this is an essential industry that we must continue to teach to keep the sport alive and strong. Within this role I can apply my knowledge and practical ability to care for horses to a high standard. Furthermore, my passion for horses can be reflected by my degree due its area of specialism. My practical understanding of horses is now supported by scientific knowledge and understanding allowing for best care of horses. As an example, I possess anatomically understanding of the horse to prevent or treat injury. Not only has the degree educated me further on horses but it’s also taught me to have good time management, self-motivation, and ability to work with other people.
I've always been fascinated by the skill and science of equestrian sport. My fascination with the sport stems from my childhood spent in the company of horses, which allowed me to develop a strong understanding of caring for horses and riding. I hold enthusiasm and strong skill when working with horses due to numerous years of experience and education, because of this I knew that a career in the equine industry would be my only pathway.
I have a wide range experience due to years of riding from a child. I can school on the flat to a high standard having ridden young horses for show yards and client, adding to this i have skill to retrain a horse, for example i am presently bringing on my ex race horse to do showing and dressage.
Competed since 4 y/o in county showing and affiliated dressage
