Specialities

Good experience with young and nervous Horses that are very green in their work and stallions that are settling in and difficult to handle. I have also taken a very keen interest in rehabilitation as several Horses I have Iooked after have been through varying types of rehab. I have managed a PSD Horse who is now back to soundness ridden, which the vets predicted would not happen and also my own Horse is in rehab from Kissing spine and arthritis.

Type of Ride Work

Hacking Horses, happy with a few little spooks and a looky Horse but no spinning, rearing or bucking, anything unsafe like that. I just do not want to be put in that situation. I generally keep very calm Basic schooling, as I am still learning myself to better my level of ridden work. Walk and Trot work, and some lateral work in walk is what I can do competently

Competition Details

Have been travelling Groom for the Dressage yard, so preparing the Lorry and all equipment before leaving and Horse prep the morning of show. Loading and then being in charge of Horses throughout the day, tacking up and bringing back to the Lorry so the rider can focus on the competition
