Duties of Current Occupation
Freelance groom & rider. Both sole charge and as part of a team, working in multiple settings (livery, competition, private yards) and various disciplines (eventing, show jumping, polo, hunting)
Equine Work Experience
I have had the privilege of having horses/ponies my entire life, and have always ridden. Now I have worked with them full time for 4-5 years, including riding, grooming and instructing.
Specialities
I would like to consider myself a very desirable employee, being very reliable, and hard working. I would consider my own standards very high, completing even the simplest of tasks to the best of my ability. I am also very eager to learn, and will try my hand to anything I haven’t before, making me very adaptable to lots of different yards and situations.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a variety of horses, from small cobs up to novice eventers. I have done lots of fitness work with hunters, polo ponies and eventers. However in terms of schooling, have flat and jump schooled eventers.
Competition Details
I have competition groomed for Polo, and for Show Jumping, mainly with young horses.
