Duties of Current Occupation
Riding and jumping horses in the yard, from young horses to Grand Prix horses. Day to day management of the yard. Dealing with owners of horses and keeping them up to date with the progress of their horse. Turn horses out to a high standard.
Equine Work Experience
Competed up to 1.20m - aiming to progress up the levels. Ride between 3-7 horses a day. 8th in the NSEA national championships, selected for the U21 academy team for Bristol and Somerset on many occasions. Team Regional Points League champions in 2019,2020,2021
Specialities
Delt with top competition horses including stallions, and race horses (plus breakers). Handled foals a couple of times.
Type of Ride Work
Mainly show jumpers doing flatwork flatwork and occasionally jumping between shows but hoping for more opportunity to jump and compete. I’ve also worked a season on a breaking and pre-training yard with race horses
Competition Details
Yes I have competed on a competition yard with my own horse and worked as a rider / groom for the last 3 years at an international Showjumper yard who has represented team GB on many occasions including 5* Grand Prixs as well as being on the Nations Cup team.
