Station Farm – Westhay Sept 2010 – Jan 2017 I worked with the owners looking after 7 horses. I helped exercise all the horses, doing field work, flat work, jumping and hacking. Also general yard duties, tack cleaning, mucking out, poo picking and training the horses. I have helped break in 2 ponies during that time. I did lungeing, long reining, road walks and backing as a part of their training.

Milfield Equestrian Centre (Work Experience) Oct 2012 – Jan 2013 Duties included general stable work, feeding, mucking out, hacking the horses for exercise, using the horse walker, and other work as required.

Liberty Horses Feb 2014 – June 2014 Apprenticeship using natural horsmanship techniques and working at schools with vulnerable children and using horse therapy with them. I went to college one day week. I lived away from home. Unfortuantly the business went bust through lack of financial support.

Bridgwater and Cannington College Sept 2020 – To Present

Technical: All aspects of riding and horse care. Dog training and dog agility skills.

Interpersonal: Good teamwork, timekeeping, good sense of humour, hardworking, practical, able to work without supervision, sensible, happy to meet new people and make friends easily.

Other: Full driving licence and car

I have experience with years of riding, with multiple different horses of varying disciplines. I have also worked with horses of different ages and sizes.

I have competed in many open local competitions, but nothing too serious.
