Qualifications
Level 1 diploma in work based horse care Level 3 principles of travelling with horses on short journeys Entry level knowledge of the horseracing industry(Level 3) All of these were done through the BHA

Duties of Current Occupation
I did a 6 week work placement at a racing yard which included basic duties such as, turn out, feeding, grooming, tacking up, putting horses on the walker.
Equine Work Experience
I used to ride for 2 years haven't ridden in a year. I have also been to Doncaster national horseracing college, and my work placement I did as well. I do know some stuff about equine 1st aid after being in college with basics like bandaging, taking temps, giving bute and other oral meds, cold hosing and minor cuts.
