Duties of Current Occupation

My duties involve genarel yard duties such as mucking out the stables turning horses out and also riding horses, if it is in the school or out hacking. In the school i am very good at flat work. Could be doing with a bit of experence in jumping area.

Equine Work Experience

Previous i work for a horse dealer in scotland, breaking horse and ponies in order to sell them. When working here I decided to try and do this for myself, so I looked for a yard to rent and I started my own livery yard. Since September 2013 I have run a very successful livery yard and dealing yard. The only reason that I am currently looking for a job at present is the property I was renting is no longer available to rent, which leave me in a position either to relocate or find work for myself. So I have decided that I want to work for someone now. Well my main duties with my previous job were as follows. General Yard Duties Preparing Horse for buyers Schooling Breaking Feeding Programme The yard I had we had approx 15 full liveries and 10 part liveries, so I had full responsibility of this yard. I employed some part time staff from time to time. This has gave me great experience working in this environment, and I hope to be able pass this one to my new employer.

Specialities

I am energtic, like too for as part of a team, i have the drive to succed in everything i do. Anything i cant do i want to learn to do and improve myself at it all the time. I am a very good listener, good commincation skills which i think is key which is most esstianal working in and around the equine business.
