Have worked with horses from many backgrounds as a farrier and rider/groom. Started working with young thoroughbreds backing and riding. I then took part in a farrier apprenticeship and spent most of the 90s as assistant farrier to various farries in the uk. I then worked on polo farm started as groom and also started shoeing ponies. I went to USA and worked on hunter jumper yard, i rode, groomed and went out shoeing with several farriers whist in Middleburg, Virginia. Moved to Rebublic of Ireland and set up as farrier i was her for 3 years shoeing thoroghbreds and showjumpers, Came back to uk worled as farrier for several years. Currently assist at thoroughbred stud.

Have ridden hunters, polo, racehorses , showjumpers and some dressage for exercise. I have shod many types of horses.
